Recognition of Prior Learning
Already working in disability support? Your experience and skills may count towards a nationally recognised qualification. Apply for RPL with Bayes College today.
What is RPL?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal process that acknowledges the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained through your work and life experiences — even if that learning was never formally assessed or recognised.
Through this portal, you can apply for RPL towards CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), other courses, and more courses to be added soon.
How the RPL Process Works
Information & Unit Selection
Review your chosen units of competency. Read through the learning outcomes and key competencies so you understand exactly what is being assessed.
Self-Assessment & Evidence
For each competency, indicate how frequently you perform it (Regularly / Sometimes / Never) and upload supporting evidence such as references, certificates, or work samples.
Supervisor Verification & Assessment
Invite your supervisor or employer to verify your competencies online. A Bayes College assessor will then review your complete application and determine the outcome.
CHC33021 — Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
This qualification covers 15 units of competency across disability support, aged care, communication, health and safety, and legal/ethical practice. RPL is available for all 15 units.
